No Bake Chocolate, Peanut Butter and Oatmeal Balls

During the summer temperatures can become very hot. That however does not stop me from wanting something sweet, though homemade. The following recipe is very simple to make and does not require the use of a hot oven.
Makes about 24 balls!

Ingredients:

1/2 cup butter
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
4 tablespoons cocoa
1/2 cup of creamy peanut butter
2 teaspoons vanilla
3 cups dry quick cooking oats

Method:

1. Add butter, sugar, milk, and cocoa to a medium sauce pan.
2. Bring to a boil and leave for one minute.
3. Remove from heat.
4. Add in peanut butter and stir until melted.
5. Add in vanilla.
6. Add in oats and mix.
7. Roll into balls and place onto plate.
8. Let cool until set.

Enjoy!

  1. I like that these don't have flour! No bake cookies are great in the summer when you don't want to turn on the oven :)
