During the summer temperatures can become very hot. That however does not stop me from wanting something sweet, though homemade. The following recipe is very simple to make and does not require the use of a hot oven.
Makes about 24 balls!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
4 tablespoons cocoa
1/2 cup of creamy peanut butter
2 teaspoons vanilla
3 cups dry quick cooking oats
3 cups dry quick cooking oats
1. Add butter, sugar, milk, and cocoa to a medium sauce pan.
2. Bring to a boil and leave for one minute.
3. Remove from heat.

I like that these don't have flour! No bake cookies are great in the summer when you don't want to turn on the oven :)
ReplyDeleteI also liked that flour wasn't needed. Oh and definitely better than having to turn on the oven :)
DeleteWhat a great idea! I have seen the no bake cookies before but not the ball version. Looks yummy and everyone loves the peanut butter chocolate combination.
ReplyDeleteActually I started out doing them as cookies but for some reason I wanted to make them into balls. Oh and I can never get enough chocolate and peanut butter together :)
