Looking for a cool treat to beat the heat without the extra sugar? These yummy strawberry yogurt popsicles may be just what you need. They consist of only two ingredients and are very quick and easy to make.
When checking the net for suggested measurements I noticed that all the recipes for homemade fruit and yogurt popsicles had sugar listed in the ingredients. I decided to try going without the added sugar as most fruits already have enough sweetness to them.
This recipe makes 4 servings of four ounce popsicle molds.
All you need is:
1 cup of plain yogurt
1 cup fresh strawberries
Next:
Blend strawberries in blender until smooth.
Add yogurt and blend only for a few seconds.
Pour mixture into molds and freeze until frozen (a few hours).
Pour mixture into molds and freeze until frozen (a few hours).
Notes:
You can try adding fruits other than strawberries or even mix up various flavors.
If you do not have a popsicle mold it is no big deal. Small sized paper cups with popsicle sticks work well.
What kind of fruit would you add to make yogurt popsicles?
